Sent our first package off to Joshua. When the missionary says send food what can a mother do? BUT Send FOOD! I sent a Happy Halloween package to him. I decorated the package up with lots of Halloween stickers and loaded it with beef jerky, crackers and cheese, chips and cheap Halloween mask and much more and sent it off. Had to throw in something fun for Halloween figured it probably wouldn’t get used. But later when he sent pictures they actually had taken pictures in the mask. Kind of fun.

Here is his letter from today

Hey! Sorry mom I'm on at a different time today. We decided it would be better to come in the morning but I dunno if we will do this every week... So I took notes on letters this week again so ill just go down the list like last week haha... First off thank you for the package! I loved it! It came on Monday so it made my Halloween. When I got it people in the mail room were saying stuff about how lucky I was and the missionaries were jealous haha. Oh and dad I got your letter Wednesday I think, or maybe it was Tuesday. Yeah it was Tuesday. I’m writing you a letter so yeah... Next... I want to put my name on my Spanish scriptures. I can’t decide if I should put my actual name or put Elder on there too. What do you think? I’m leaning towards Elder Joshua David Floisand...
So when you send stuff to Honduras, you have to go get Virgin Mary stickers to put on. If you don’t put them on it there is only like a 20% chance I will get them. So yeah just a heads up. You could try and e mail my pres in Honduras to ask him what’s best but I don’t think you need to... So Halloween sounds like it was fun! Pretty much I went to bed at 10 30 on Halloween. That’s pretty bad, on one of my favorite holidays. So dad watch Halloween 4 with a dew for me...
My cold is gone except I have a runny nose. Also I have had a bunch of bloody noses. I can’t figure out why but they were bad. But I started putting Vaseline in my nose which was weird but it helped! My favorite district left on Monday. I really liked them so it was kind of sad. But Elder Webb (from Farmington) gave me some shoes that he only used for the MTC so he wouldn’t wear out his new ones for the field. So I'm using those every day, so that’s cool haha. They sound like I have high heels on though when I walk on hard surfaces haha. My district finds that funny haha... Mom about the memory card I’m not sure what to do but maybe ill send you the card like a week or two before I leave. But I think I can make a cd here. But I can’t go on any websites so that’s out of the question to do that... Is everything ok with my ticket? If I remember right my court date was next week so I was wondering about that. And I know the way I do these emails is probably annoying since its all mixed up but try to answer all these questions that I ask haha. The dear elders are printed at 4:00ppm every day Mom. I think I told you in the letter but you said I never told you. Did you get the pictures? But yeah so if you send it before 4 I get it that day. Except Saturdays and Sundays. Saturdays are earlier and Sundays I get nada... Anyways haha the one you’ve been waiting for--- matt is--- not in my zone, not in my room, not on my floor, and not in my building haha. Sucks but yeah. His class is by mine though. Yeah on Wednesday I was just coming out of lunch and I had 10 minutes to kill so we went out to see if I could see matt and I waited but never saw him. I had class at 1 and at about 12 58 I was like I guess he is coming later let’s just go and then just as we were going I saw them pull out of that parking lot haha. So as they drove in I hid and they went way down to I had to run but I snuck up behind matt as they were all there. Please tell his parents sorry if I ruined their goodbye. I kind of felt bad after because I may have ruined the goodbye haha. But it sounds like they were cool with it. Please tell them I said sorry just in case haha. But yeah I hugged a couple of them (be jealous mom!) but I had to go because I was late but also there was a lady coming to pretty much chew me out so I left before she got there haha... Next, did you finish my mission plague (sp?)? I’ve been wondering about that. I may have a scripture if you didn’t do it yet. Please don’t put that off though. Sounds dumb but growing up I always wanted mine up there haha... So I spent $300 on contacts but it sounds like if I wear them in Honduras my chances of getting a parasite or something in my eye get very high. Ill talk to my Pres when I get there but I hope my glasses make it through the 2 years haha... That’s way cool Grandma got to hear my testimony from TJ. Tell him thank you and I said hello! On that note Mom ill try to write a Spanish letter but I can’t make any promises haha... Dad did you check my bank yet? I’m worried about my credit card. And did Brandon cancel my Xbox membership? That’s coming out of Deseret first. And I can’t believe I’m saying this but... can you send me some of that hair stuff? I want to start putting it on my head. There are a few bald kids with the "horseshoe" at my age and it’s terrified me haha. So please send it. You can take money out of my bank. But PLEASE Mom I’m already going to struggle with the weight of my bags on the plane so don’t send too much haha I know how you are. Plus I don’t have a ton of money left in my account so yeah. But try and get that to me when you can haha... Mom the info from home is nice to get! Don’t worry its not distracting me. So far I have more letters and stuff then the amount of days I have been here (23 days can you believe it?) I find that pretty flattering haha... And yes mom I’m having a great time. My zone is cool. I do miss home but I’m still having a good time. Next week we will be the oldest district in the zone! Crazy! Mom I hope you’re speaking went well! That sounds scary! Well again sorry this is at a different time haha. And I probably won’t get to reply mom sorry. I used all my time on this e mail haha I’m actually over my time now but oh well haha... That’s all for now. Usually as soon as I push send I remember other stuff but I think that’s all for this week haha. Ill try to get pictures of me Matt and Zach on Sunday at the temple but we will see. Nico Klus left Monday. That sucked but yeah... Bye! Love you all!
